Sun and Shadows Oh My!

3rd graders have been studying the Sun during Science time. We know the Sun moves across the sky because we (the earth) are moving around our axis, which causes the Sun to rise in the East and set in the West. Day and night are also caused by the earth's movement. After learning about the movement of the Sun, we started looking at our shadows. We will trace ur shadows at different times of the day to see if our shadow changes with the location of the Sun in the sky.
